The Mojo Market, Sea Point’s top food and retail market, has once again extended its offering for the upcoming summer months.Known for its live entertainment, patrons traditionally watched an array of local bands from Thursday night until Sunday evening. Mojo has, however, added to their already magical set, with bands now playing every night of the week and over weekends. What’s more? Entry is free of charge!
“Where else can you experience free, live, quality entertainment seven nights a week? Music is key at Mojo and we love the idea of providing a space for people to come together, have a drink, something to eat and listen to great local music” says Mojo Market Co-Owner, Robbie Lessem.
Not only has the entertainment at Mojo grown, but so has the food and retail offering. With the introduction of delicious curry house, Simply Exotic, well-known vegan restaurant, The Hungry Herbivore, Banting Baker Gigi, Brad Ball’s the Rib Shack and Mac Factories’ Mac and Cheese, the Market caters for all tastebuds. On the retail side natural goods brand, Pure Intentions, has joined the ranks along with Eco Punk Kids Clothing and Olivia Lincoln’s Collections.
“Excellence underlies all we do at Mojo and so we are very selective when choosing traders. We strive to offer visitors a unique and worthwhile experience. One they won’t find elsewhere,” says Lessem.
Spanning 1700 square meters, Mojo market is a hybrid and eclectic mix of designer retail stalls, food vendors, two bars, hair salon, live entertainment stage and wellness zone. In addition to the permanent vendors, there is also a diverse weekend market. Retailers trade from 10h00 – 18h00 with food vendors open until 10pm and the bar from 11h00 to 23h00. For the night owls, fresh coffee and burgers are available 24-hours a day. To keep up-to-date with all things Mojo, follow them on Facebook or visit www.mojomarket.co.za
